just a general disgust with myself and the world.

got the news today that my uncle(who ive only met a handful of times) has 6-12 months to live. a few hours later a coworker i hardly know admitted to shooting someone in the chest when they were 16, possibly killing them. so thats my life.

lately ive been told that im a good person. i dont know if i am. my mentality in these environments is that im normal and everyone surrounding me just cant deal with their shit, or theyre just baseline fucking terrible. or you know, maybe im just beginning to expect more from people than i should. i think i need some purpose. but right now all i can think about is trying to date some girl.

life is fucking stupid.

report from the National Transgender Discrimination Survey conducted by the National Gay & Lesbian Task Force and the National Center for Transgender Equality, found that transgender people faced double the rate of unemployment of the general population, with 63 percent of the transgender people surveyed reporting they experienced a serious act of discrimination that majorly affected their ability to sustain themselves. These numbers are even worse for trans people of color, especially trans women of color, the deaths of whom have been deemed a “state of emergency.”

Trans women have been saddled with the responsibility of taking on trans-exclusionary feminists for far too long—but it’s not their issue to deal with alone.

feel what you want about other people, judge all you want as well. but there’s been a time in all of our lives where we’re the one who is drunk at 3am and eating a taco salad in a way that no taco salad should ever be eaten in public.

Was just about to post some self indulgent entry about feeling everything all at once lately, but then i realized for a dude who just a year ago was having a hard time even letting myself actually feel,I think I’m doing a pretty decent job of dealing with it. I just need to realize that I do best when i bounce these feelings off on friends to get my head straight before I start lashing out in unhealthy ways.

Forever grateful for the people in my life that i can have frank emotional discussions with. Funny how most of them are, and have consistently been strong women in my life. Forever Grateful.
